Norman Bates and his Mother, between them, created a ‘how not to treat your guests or run a motel’ blueprint. A young lady staying at a sinister motel in the middle of nowhere, run by the cringiest weirdo manager ever, make this a story that has to end badly. A horror masterpiece.
